The Fence Post Repair Spike 75mm (RS75) is a compact steel anchor used to replace a rotten or broken fence post without the requirement to dig out and replace a pre-existing concrete footing. It is specially sized to suit the popular $75\text{mm}\times75\text{mm}$ (3'x3') fence posts. The spike is driven into the ground next to the remaining post stump, effectively wedging itself into the solid concrete base and providing a new, secure anchorage point.
### Key Features
Function:A $300\text{mm}$ long spike combined with a $150\text{mm}$ post holder (total $450\text{mm}$ length) specifically designed to easily wedge into the space between an old stump and its concrete base.
PostRetention:This is an ' Bolt Secure' type, featuring two $8\text{mm}$ Carriage Bolts that tighten and clamp around the new post.
Finish:Typically coated with a Red Oxide Powder Coat (Corrosion Rating 2) for rust protection and to blend in with fencing, though other corrosion-resistant finishes have also been available.
Installation:An ideal time-saving and repair method that lifts a critical section of the new post above soil moisture levels.
