Concrete Gully Surrounds are ''U'' shaped concrete moulded sections
used to define and protect the area around your gully, usually at ground
level, where soil or rainwater pipes meet with the foul waste drain by
way of a trapped gully. The trap on the gully is filled with water which
stops smells from emanating back up from the sewer. It is also much
easier to cut grass or paving in straight lines around the concrete
surround because it is raised above your paving level which stops debris
from being blown into your gully and causing unwanted blockages.
