TIMco ETX-M Insulation Fixing - 8.0 x 135mm

The ETX-M is a hammer-in insulation fixing with a polypropylene sleeve, a 60mm plate and a galvanised steel pin that carries an over-moulded plastic insulator to break the thermal path through the fastener. The fixing is driven home with a hammer once the board is offered up, so no separate screwing operation is needed.

At 8.0 x 135mm this length suits insulation up to 100mm, or 120mm where the plate is countersunk into the board. It anchors into concrete, solid clay and calcium silicate brick, perforated and hollow brick, lightweight aggregate concrete and aerated concrete. Used for fixing external wall insulation and for mechanically retaining rigid boards and mineral wool where a low thermal bridge through the fastener is required.
