Stanley No.220 Adjustable Block Plane

The Stanley 1-12-220 block plane has a cast iron base with precision ground sides and bottom and an epoxy coating over the body. The 40mm chrome carbon alloy steel cutter sits at a 21 degree angle for cross-grain work, and both the depth of cut and the cutter alignment are adjustable.

A finger rest at the front of the plane gives control over the stroke. Used for trimming end grain and for touching up finished timber where a fine adjustable cut is required.
