Rawlplug R-TAP-IT Hammer-In Plasterboard Fixing, Jar of 200

The Rawlplug R-TAP-IT is a steel hammer-in fixing for plasterboard, supplied in a jar of 200 with 4 x 40mm screws. It is tapped straight into the board with a hammer, with no drilling: the corrugated tip and introductory thread bite into the board and the expanding body stops the fixing spinning as the screw is driven. The flat head sits flush with the board face and the fixing can be removed again without damaging the substrate.

Used for fixing light shelving and hanging towel rails or picture hooks where a quick plasterboard fixing is required.
