UltraTile ProPrimer Tile Primer - 5L

UltraTile ProPrimer is a moisture tolerant, water-based acrylic primer, sealer and bonding aid for both porous and non-porous substrates. It prepares surfaces before applying tile adhesives and smoothing compounds, including concrete, sand/cement screeds, plywood, tile backer boards and existing ceramic or porcelain tiles.

The primer enhances adhesion, reduces substrate porosity and improves water resistance. Porous surfaces take a first coat diluted 3 parts water to 1 part primer, then a second coat at 1:1, while non-porous surfaces are primed neat. Used for preparing internal walls and floors before tiling where improved adhesion is required.
