OX Pro Scutch Comb Holder - 200 x 38mm
A solid forged carbon steel holder measuring 200mm long by 38mm wide, machined to take a detachable scutch comb. The steel is hardened and tempered so the striking end stands up to repeated hammer work.
Combs are consumable and are replaced as they wear, which keeps the holder in service far longer than a fixed chisel. Combs are not included and are ordered separately. Used for dressing stone and chasing brickwork and for cleaning off mortar where a replaceable cutting edge is required.
