Marshalltown Skate Wheel Joint Raker

The Marshalltown 89 joint raker runs on two 44mm (1 3/4in) skate wheels either side of a hardened raking point. The point is adjustable, so the depth taken out of the joint can be set before starting and then held consistently as the tool is rolled along the wall.

The body and contoured handle are aluminium, keeping the tool light in the hand over a full elevation. Used for raking out old mortar and for preparing joints before repointing where a consistent rake depth is required.
