Marsh Shallow Horizontal Septic Tank - 3800 Litre

The Marsh horizontal septic tank is a low-profile cylindrical shell moulded in glass reinforced plastic with a gravity outlet. Solids settle as sludge and the lighter liquid undergoes anaerobic digestion, but the wastewater is not fully treated and must receive further treatment before it reaches the water environment.

The low profile reduces excavation depth, and the tank is supplied with legs, a pedestrian cover, integral lifting eyes and a keying-in lip for anchoring into the surround. A Polylok filter is available as an optional extra and reduces suspended solids by up to 40 per cent. Used for off-mains domestic wastewater and for sites with a high water table or hard rock where a reduced excavation depth is required.
