Expamet Insulation Retaining Disc

The Expamet SSCD is a moulded plastic retaining disc that clips onto a cavity wall tie and holds a partial fill rigid insulation board tight against the inner leaf. It can be pushed on before the tie is built in or fitted in situ once the board is in place.

The disc is red and is designed to suit most styles and sizes of cavity wall tie, and Expamet cross-reference it from the PT housing tie range. Used for partial fill insulated cavity walls and for retaining rigid board against the inner leaf where a continuous clear residual cavity is required.
