Rawlplug DRA-02 Metal Self-Drive Plasterboard Fixing, Jar of 150
The Rawlplug DRA-02 is a self-drilling metal fixing for plasterboard, supplied in a jar of 150 with matching 4.5 x 34mm screws. The fixing is driven straight through the board face with a PZ2 screwdriver bit without pre-drilling, and its flange spreads the load and stops the fixing pulling through the board. It suits single and double thickness plasterboard from 9.5mm upwards, as well as gypsum fibreboard and chipboard.
Used for hanging light fittings and mounting brackets on plasterboard partitions where a fixing that holds without a timber stud is required.
