This carriage bolt is an M12 thread by 250mm cup square coach bolt supplied with a matching hex nut. The domed head and square shoulder under the head grip into timber to stop the bolt spinning as the nut is tightened.

It has a bright zinc plated finish for corrosion resistance and is partially threaded for a strong clamped joint. Used for bolting timber to timber on fences, decking and gates and for fixing heavy ironmongery where a secure, non-spin fixing is required.
