This carriage bolt and hex nut set is BZP finished. Used for timber-to-timber and general construction fixing where a bolted connection with a domed head is required.
The square shoulder under the domed head prevents the bolt from turning as the nut is tightened. Manufactured from carbon steel with a Bright Zinc Plated finish for corrosion resistance, per Timco's published carriage bolt range specification.
