The Belle PCLX 40E+ is an 82V battery powered forward plate compactor with a 400mm plate, driven by a 1.5kW brushless motor and supplied with an 8Ah battery and charger. It produces 13kN of centrifugal force at 101Hz with a maximum travel speed of 20m per minute, and the battery is interchangeable across the Belle E+ 82V range.

Running on battery rather than petrol removes exhaust emissions at the point of work, and hand-arm vibration is held below 2.5m/s2. Used for compacting in basements, tunnels and poorly ventilated areas and for work in emission controlled and environmentally sensitive locations where emission-free compaction is required.
