Marsh Ensign Standard Sewage Treatment Plant - 8 Person

The Marsh Ensign Standard is a three-chamber package sewage treatment plant moulded in glass reinforced plastic. Wastewater passes through primary settlement, an aerated bio-media chamber and a final settlement chamber before leaving the tank under gravity. A low-energy compressor feeds membrane diffusers below the bio-media, and an integral low-pressure alarm signals any loss of air supply.

The shell is moulded from virgin unfilled resin with an isophthalic gel coat and carries integral lifting eyes, stabilising feet and a keying-in lip for anchoring into a granular or concrete surround. Inlet and outlet connections are 110mm with Forsheda seals, and a 32mm sludge return is fitted. Used for off-mains domestic dwellings and for discharge to a drainage field or watercourse where consented treated effluent quality is required.
