This precast concrete coping from FP McCann measures 302mm wide by 60mm thick by 905mm long and is finished with a twice weathered profile. The top surface slopes down from a central ridge to both edges so rainwater runs off each side of the wall rather than soaking into the masonry below.
Capping a wall with concrete copings helps protect the brickwork or blockwork beneath from saturation, staining and frost damage while giving the wall a neat, uniform finish. Used for capping garden walls and boundary walls where weather protection is required.
