Thistle HardWall Undercoat Plaster - 25kg

Thistle HardWall is a pre-mixed, retarded hemihydrate gypsum undercoat plaster for two-coat plaster systems, giving walls improved resistance to impact. It can be applied by hand or by spray machine and is designed for most medium to high suction backgrounds, including brick and aircrete block. It is not for use on smooth, low suction blocks.

It is applied at 11mm on walls and 8mm on ceilings, with one 25kg bag covering approximately 3m2 at 11mm, and has a minimum setting time of 2 hours. A Thistle finish coat such as MultiFinish, PureFinish, DuraFinish or Magnetic plaster is required before decorating or tiling. Used for brick and aircrete block walls where an impact resistant undercoat is required.
