SikaMix Mortar Plasticiser - 5L

SikaMix Mortar Plasticiser is a ready-to-use liquid admixture that plasticises and entrains air in mortars and plaster. It increases workability, plasticity and cohesion, and its chloride-free formula is non-corrosive to steel. It is supplied in a 5L jerry can.

Air entrainment increases frost resistance and reduces shrinkage, cracking and efflorescence in the finished mortar. The addition rate is 125 to 250ml per 50kg of cement depending on the degree of plasticising required, added to part of the clean gauging water and never directly to the dry mix, with the mixing water reduced by at least the same volume. Used for bricklaying and pointing mortars and renders where improved workability and frost resistance is required.
