Sika Black Jack 904 Bitumen Roof Felt Adhesive - 5L

Sika Black Jack 904 is a cold applied, oxidised bitumen based adhesive for bonding roofing felt to most surfaces, including metal, concrete, wood and existing roofing felt. It is also used for sealing felt laps and for cold gritting, bonding mineral chippings to the final felt layer on roofs up to a 10 deg slope.

The adhesive is left open for 15 to 30 minutes before the felt is placed and dries in around 24 hours depending on conditions. Porous surfaces such as concrete and lightweight screeds should be primed first, and on timber roofs the first felt layer is nailed down with only the second and third layers bonded. Used for bonding roofing felt and cold gritting where a high bond strength bitumen adhesive is required.
