Plastic Air Brick - 9 x 3 Terracotta
A 9 x 3 plastic air brick in terracotta, moulded in polypropylene to sit in a brickwork course and let air pass through the wall. Its louvred front grille admits air while screening out insects, and the plastic body does not rot or corrode.
The air brick is fitted on the outer face of the wall, typically with a telescopic underfloor ventilator or cavity sleeve behind it, to vent suspended timber ground floors and wall cavities. Units clip together so two or more can be stacked for a larger opening. Used for underfloor void and cavity wall ventilation where through-wall airflow is required.
