Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra Clear Satin - 2.5L

Osmo UV-Protection-Oil Extra is a clear, satin exterior wood finish based on natural plant oils including sunflower, soya, thistle and linseed oil. Applied in two coats on vertical surfaces it gives a UV protection factor of 12 compared with untreated wood, slowing the natural greying of timber. The Extra formulation contains a biocide that delays the growth of algae and fungi on the coating.

The microporous finish lets the wood breathe, repels water and does not crack, flake, peel or blister, while reducing swelling and shrinkage of the timber. It can be applied to untreated wood or over wood that has already been colour treated. Used for exterior cladding, fences and garden buildings and for doors, windows and shutters where UV protection that slows greying is required.
