Marshalltown Gauging Trowel DuraSoft - 178 x 86mm

The Marshalltown 48D gauging trowel has a 178 x 86mm (7 x 3 3/8in) blade forged from a single piece of high carbon steel, with a distinct V-shaped back and a broad rounded tip. The round end lets the trowel work the bottom of a mixing bucket and lift a measured amount of material cleanly.

A DuraSoft handle with an integral finger guard is fitted. Used for gauging and mixing quick-setting material and for applying measured quantities of mortar or plaster where a round-ended forged blade is required.
