The Libra FI50 is a 50mm I stud rolled from galvanised steel and supplied in a 3000mm length. The I section places a flange on each side of a 50mm web, giving a stiffer vertical member than an open C stud and allowing board to be fixed to both faces without packing.

Both faces are knurled so drywall screws bite rather than skating across the steel. The stud sits inside a 52mm track at head and floor. Used for non-load-bearing internal partitions and for wall linings where a rigid vertical member with a positive screw fixing is required.
