K Rend Silicone K1 is a water-repellent, cement-based, polymer-modified render, self-coloured in ivory and supplied in a 25kg bag. It combines silicone water repellency with a cement render system to give a low-maintenance finish that resists dirt, algae and lime-bloom while allowing water vapour to pass through.

K1 is applied with most render spray machines and levelled by hand at a nominal one-coat thickness of 16-20mm, then given a scraped textured finish or cut into an Ashlar pattern; small areas such as quoins and window reveals may be finished smooth. Each bag is mixed with 4-5 litres of clean water for 10 minutes and has an open time of approximately one hour. Used for rendering walls and larger machine-applied projects where a water-repellent, self-coloured finish is required.
