Expamet Heavy Duty Restraint Strap - 1500mm Bent 100mm

Expamet heavy duty restraint strap in galvanised mild steel with a 600g/m2 zinc coating, 1500mm long and bent at 100mm. The strap is 28mm wide in 4.0mm gauge, with frequent 6mm fixing holes along its length.

It connects timber joists, rafters and beams to masonry walls, giving restraint against wind and uplift. The strap is fixed with 4 x 75mm round wire nails, and the bent end is built in with the downstand tight against the face of the block. Used for tying joists and rafters to masonry walls where restraint against wind uplift is required.
