Expamet Safe End Frame Cramp - 200mm Projection with Holes
The Expamet safe end frame cramp is a stainless steel fixing for tying timber window and door frames into masonry. It has a 200mm projection, a 50mm upstand and a 19mm wing width in 2.0mm gauge, with pre-punched holes for fixing to the frame and a curved safety end to help prevent injury on site.
The cramp is built into a 10-12mm mortar bed joint with a minimum design embedment of 62.5mm, and fixings up to M8 are chosen to suit the substrate. It is bedded and covered in fresh mortar before the next course is laid. Used for fixing window and door frames into brick and block openings where a corrosion-resistant stainless steel cramp is required.
