Expamet 250mm Housing Wall Tie - Stainless Steel

The Expamet PT250 is a 250mm housing wall tie pressed from grade 1.4301 austenitic stainless steel, the Type 4 tie used to connect the two leaves of a masonry cavity wall. A safety end is formed on the tie to reduce the risk of injury while the wall is being built.

At 250mm the tie suits a cavity of 100 to 125mm, and each end is bedded at least 62.5mm into the mortar joint of its leaf and covered with fresh mortar before the next course is laid. Used for new cavity wall construction in housing and for partial fill insulated cavities where a corrosion resistant tie is required.
