Expamet Type 4 Stainless Steel Housing Wall Tie - 225mm

The Expamet 225mm Type 4 housing tie is a symmetrical stainless steel cavity wall tie for tying the inner and outer leaves of masonry cavity walls with a cavity width of 76-100mm. It is made from 2.3mm high-tensile, corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a mill finish and has a safety end to help prevent injury on site.

The tie is designed for dwellings up to 10m high with no more than 3 storeys, with a minimum design embedment of 62.5mm in each leaf. A retaining disc is required where partial-fill rigid insulation is used. Used for domestic cavity walls and separating party walls where a corrosion-resistant stainless steel tie is required.
