Expamet Type 4 Stainless Steel Housing Wall Tie - 200mm

The Expamet 200mm Type 4 housing tie is a stainless steel cavity wall tie for tying the inner and outer leaves of masonry cavity walls with a cavity width of 50-75mm. It is made from 2.3mm gauge high-tensile, corrosion-resistant stainless steel with a 28mm wing width and a mill finish, and has a safety end to help prevent injury on site.

The tie is designed for dwellings up to 10m high with no more than 3 storeys, with a minimum design embedment of 62.5mm in each leaf. It is bedded and covered in fresh mortar before the next course is laid, and a retaining disc is required where partial-fill rigid insulation is used. Used for domestic cavity walls and separating party walls where a corrosion-resistant stainless steel tie is required.
