Fine Thread Drywall Screws - 3.5 x 42mm (Box of 200)
Fine thread drywall screws, 3.5mm diameter by 42mm long, supplied in boxes of 200. The fine thread and sharp point are made for fixing plasterboard to light-gauge metal studs, biting the steel without a pilot hole.
The bugle head self-countersinks flush without tearing the paper face, and the black phosphate coating will not react with gypsum, so jointing compound adheres cleanly over the head. Used for fixing plasterboard to metal stud partitions and for ceiling grids where a fine thread board screw is required.
