TDP Concrete and Screed Fibres 20mm - 100g Bag

TDP Fibres are 20mm cut-length, pure polypropylene fibres for adding to concrete and sand/cement screed mixes, supplied in a 100g bag dosed for 25kg of cement. The fibres are resistant to acids, alkalis and salts and carry an antistatic agent that helps them bind into the cement matrix.

The fibres are added to the dry mix and dry mixed for 1.5 to 2 minutes, then water is added and mixing continues for a further 1.5 to 2 minutes. In CERAM Building Technology tests, 28-day shrinkage was 0.09% with fibres against 0.31% without, and surface wear resistance improved. The fibres do not replace steel reinforcement. Used for garage floors, concrete drives and floor screeds where reduced shrinkage cracking is required.
