Chinese Natural Roofing Slate - 500 x 250mm
A natural Chinese roofing slate measuring 500 x 250mm with a thickness of 5 to 7mm. The slate is hand split, giving a fine riven texture and a flat dark grey to black surface that sits closely alongside Welsh slate on a mixed or repaired roof.
At 500 x 250mm this is one of the standard UK slating sizes, nailed to battens rather than bedded. Used for new pitched roofs and re-roofing and for conservation and repair work where a close colour match to existing natural slate is required.
