Chesterfelt Chestershield 1F Underslating Felt - 15m x 1m
Chestershield 1F is a traditional bitumen underslating felt with a hessian reinforcement and lightly sanded surfaces, supplied as a 15m x 1m roll covering 15 square metres. Laid beneath slates or tiles on a ventilated pitched roof, it sheds any water that passes the covering and provides a secondary barrier. Used for underlaying slate and tile roofs where a traditional bitumen underlay is required.
