Cavity Trays Type W Caviweep-Vent - 65 x 10 x 100mm Terracotta

The Type W Caviweep-Vent from Cavity Trays is a terracotta polypropylene unit that combines a cavity weep and a cavity ventilator in one. It drains water from lintels, damp-proof courses and cavity trays while giving a free airflow of 320 sq mm through an insect-resistant front grille.

Internal baffles diffuse wind pressure to help stop rain being blown into the cavity, and the terracotta colour is chosen to blend with mortar and masonry. Cavity Trays recommends a unit every third or fourth brick for balanced ventilation, including above and below cavity barriers and horizontal fire stops in timber-frame buildings. Used for cavity wall drainage and ventilation where balanced cavity airflow is required.
