Green Treated Cant Rail - 47 x 125mm x 3.0m

A pressure-treated timber cant rail with a nominal section of 47 x 125mm, finished at 47 x 75mm, and supplied in a 3.0m length. It is an alternative to the traditional arris rail for feather edge fencing and can be nailed directly onto the closeboard fence, so specially cut posts are not needed to support it.

The bevelled top lets rainwater run off, extending the life of the rail, and the treatment protects against insect attack, fungal decay and rot. Natural fading can occur with weathering and the rail can be stained to maintain its appearance. Used for building continuous feather edge fence runs and closeboard fencing where a water-shedding horizontal rail is required.
