Natural Hydraulic Lime (NHL) 3.5 is a moderately hydraulic, medium strength general purpose lime for lime mortars and renders. It contains no additives, mineral additions or Portland cement, and is supplied in a 25kg bag with weatherproof, recyclable packaging.

Mixed with sharp sand it produces a mortar for repointing brick and stone walls, and it is used for lime render on internal walls or sheltered external areas, standard brickwork above the damp proof course, and the conservation of historic buildings built with lime mortar. Its flexibility helps absorb movement without stressing brick or stone, and its vapour permeability lets moisture escape. Used for repointing and lime rendering where vapour permeability is required.
