Brett Martin Solvent Cleaner - 250ml (B9031)
A 250ml solvent cleaner for preparing plastic pipework before solvent weld jointing. It strips oil, grease, dirt and residue from the mating surfaces so the solvent cement can bite into clean material.
Surface preparation is what makes a solvent weld watertight - cement over a contaminated surface is the usual cause of joint failure. Used for solvent weld waste and underground drainage jointing and for cleaning cement residue where a reliable watertight joint is required.
