Redwood Chamfered / Bullnose Skirting Board - 19 x 100mm 5th Grade
A softwood skirting board with a nominal section of 19 x 100mm, machined from 5th grade Scandinavian redwood and sold by the linear metre. The board is reversible, with a chamfered profile on one face and a bullnose profile on the other, so either edge detail can be fitted.
It is cut from side boards of slow-grown Finnish redwood, which gives good stability in use, and it is supplied sanded and unfinished, ready for painting or varnishing once fixed. The finished section is smaller than the nominal size because of planing. Used for finishing internal walls and covering the wall-to-floor joint where a paintable or varnishable natural timber skirting is required.
