Knauf Soundshield Plus Plasterboard - 15mm Tapered Edge
A high density acoustic plasterboard with a blue face paper and tapered edges, measuring 2400 x 1200 x 15mm. The board weighs 13.3kg/m2 with a core density of 887kg/m3, and has limited combustibility.
The 15mm board gives greater impact and fire resistance than the 12.5mm version and can be used in multiple layers for higher sound resistance. It is not for use in high humidity areas. Used for partitions, wall linings and ceilings where enhanced sound resistance is required.
